That thing is they start eating better. This may be a small change at first but it can certainly make a huge difference. Here are just some numbers of how you can start eating better. Drinking Sodas If you drink three sodas each day you're basically taking in huge amounts of sugar. But even when you look at the calorie count of drinking sodas not the sugars or anything else it can make a big difference in your weight. So let's take for instance that a soda is 150 calories. And if you're drinking 3 sodas each day that is an extra 450 calories each and every day. That may not seem like a lot at first. Especially if you look at each individual soda but it matters. For a 2,000 calorie diet each day that's almost 25% of the entire daily diet! Are those 3 sodas really worth it! 173 Start Eating Better
Now that you've seen just what a soda can do for your diet it's time to look at the actual food you eat. Sure everyone like to eat foods that taste good. It usually starts at a very young age when most of us eat for comfort. Eating a certain meal makes us feel better emotionally. Or it reminds us of a different time or better feeling. In either case, making an emotional connection with food can be very bad for a diet. If you eat ice cream because you're upset or stressed then it's time you looked at your food differently. Food is just fuel for your body If you need an emotional release then try listening to music or something else like pictures or something. Find a way that doesn't connect feeling good with eating unhealthy foods. Connecting with food that is healthy for you is great. Unfortunately, for most of us, myself included, we can discern the difference and the emotional connection we make just isn't good for us.
